CSBU-N110-Introduction to Project Management for Creative Professionals This course provides an overview of project management practices for creative professionals interested in developing their business skills. Students are introduced to the five fundamental phases of a project’s life cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing. The ten knowledge areas of project management will also be explored: integration, scope, quality, time, cost, risk, procurement, human resources, communications, and stakeholder management. LEARNING OUTCOMES Upon successful completion of this course, students should have: . Created a project plan that includes the scope and work breakdown structure . Developed the project’s plan and schedule . Estimated all costs and developed a cost baseline |
