CSDI-N121 - Type and Image Studio: The combination of type and image is a vital form of visual communication conveying complex ideas, construct meanings, implied narratives, and emotions. Students will explore the relationship between type and image across print and digital media. Course projects will combine visual and verbal elements to create sophisticated design, while looking at the formal considerations of materials in art and design production. Students are encouraged to use traditional media and digital computer programs, with an emphasis on the exploration of and through materials, process, and iteration.
