LLSRC Refund Policies



Course Refunds
  • The program enrollment fee and additional accompanying fees (if applicable) are based on rates established by the LLSRC, which may be amended from time to time.
  • All fees must be received by the LLSRC prior to the registration closure date and participation in the program may be refused if payment is not made.
  • All accounts are due and payable when rendered by the LLSRC, and any account that has been outstanding for more than 30 days is subject to a 20% late penalty charge on the principal amount (the "Outstanding Amount").
  • Until the Outstanding Amount has been paid in full, enrollment will not be permitted.
  • LLSRC retains the right to terminate or to cancel programs and/or events due to unforeseen circumstances, which include, but are not limited to: external rentals, special events, tournaments and programing, and mechanical failures.
  • If possible, the LLSRC will provide 48 hours' notice of any cancellation. In this case, the participant may receive a full refund of the registration fee, if applicable.
  • Participants may withdraw from any program by providing the following to the Director of the LLSRC by contacting him/her at
    (403) 522-2606 or at lakelouisecentre@gmail.com between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (the "Notice Requirements"):
    • More than 2 weeks hours prior to the program start date: a full refund will be granted, between 1-2 weeks prior to the booking: refund will be granted less a 15% administration fee.
    • Less than 7 days prior to the program start date: no refund will be granted.
    • Full refunds may be gramted with a doctors note indicating that participation is not possible due to injury or illness.
Please note: No registration is considered confirmed without payment in full.
 
Membership Refunds
  • Membership fees are based on rates established by the LLSRC, which may be amended from time to time.
  • All fees must be received by the LLSRC prior to the activation of any membership and access may be refused if payment is not made.
  • All accounts are due and payable when rendered by the LLSRC, and any account that has been outstanding for more than 30 days is subject to a 20% late penalty charge on the principal amount (the "Outstanding Amount").
    • Until the Outstanding Amount has been paid in full, access will not be permitted. LLSRC retains the right to terminate or to cancel programs and/or events due to unforeseen circumstances, which include, but are not limited to: external rentals, special events, tournaments and programing, and mechanical failures.
  • If possible, the LLSRC will provide 48 hours' notice of any cancellation. In the case of long-term and unscheduled closures, the member may opt to "pause" their membership or receive a pro-rated refund, if applicable.
  • Full refunds may be granted with a doctors note indicating that participation is not possible due to injury or illness. No other refunds or transfers will be permitted.

Facility Rental Refunds
  • The rental fee and damage deposit (if applicable) for use of the Facilities and/or Equipment is based on rates established by the LLSRC, which may be amended from time to time.
  • All fees must be received by the LLSRC prior to the Rental Period and use of the Facilities and Equipment may be refused if payment of the Rental Fee is not made in accordance with the policies set out in the rental agreement.
  • All accounts are due and payable when rendered by the LLSRC, and any account that has been outstanding for more than 30 days is subject to a 20% late penalty charge on the principal amount (the "Outstanding Amount").
    • Until the Outstanding Amount has been paid in full, rental of the Facilities and Equipment will not be permitted. LLSRC retains the right to terminate or to cancel use of the Facilities and/or Equipment due to unforeseen circumstances, which include, but are not limited to: special events, tournaments and programming, and mechanical failures.
  • If possible, the LLSRC will provide 48 hours' notice of any cancellation. In this case, the renter may receive a full refund of the rental fee, if applicable.
  • Renters may cancel any rental of the Facilities and/or Equipment by providing the following to the Director of the LLSRC by contacting him/her at (403) 522-2606 or at lakelouisecentre@gmail.com between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (the "Notice Requirements"):
    • More than 48 hours prior to the booking: refund will be granted less a 15% administration fee, between 47-24 hours prior to the booking: 50% refund will be granted, less than 24 hours prior to the booking: no refund will be granted.
