Terms and Conditions of Courses
General
All course MUST be completed within the calendar year date of the first class,
All course fees are based on a minimum number of student per class. Course dates are subject to change if the minimum number of students is not met and the students will be notified at the earliest possible time of any date changes.
Reservations
Reservations made for any course more than 30 days prior to the course date will require a non-refundable deposit of no less than 30% of thee course fee.
Full payment is required 30 days prior to the course date or the reservations may be cancelled.
Refunds and Changes
For reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to the course date, the amount paid less 30% of the course fee, maximum $100.00, will be refunded.
No refunds will be made for any reservations cancelled 30 days or less prior to the course dates.
Cancellations made 30 days prior to course date may re-book to another course date within the same calendar year provided we have sufficient notice to fill your seat.
A $55 re-booking fee will apply.
No shows will receive no refunds.
No refunds will be made for any publications or instruments provided with the course or purchased for use with the course.
Additional Conditions for On-Water Training
Students must sign a Liability Release prior to any on-water training ONLY.
All students will participate in some strenuous tasks and should ensure that they are in good health by checking with their doctor before registering for on-water courses.
If manuals/workbooks are provided for on-water training, they must be completed prior to the on-water training to ensure your safety.
Course dates are subject to change without notice due to conditions beyond our control (e.g. weather), and students will be notified at the earliest possible time of any change in dates.
Instructors have the right to cancel any training session where it concerns the safety of the crew and/or vessel.
Course fees for on-water training are based on a minimum of 4 students per boat. Course fees are subject to change if the minimum number of students is not met and students will be notified at the earliest possible time of any changes.
Students may upgrade to private or semi-private training at an additional fee if they are on a time limit to complete the course when the minimum number of students per vessel cannot be met.
